Christina M. Ripley

Ms. Ripley initially joined Crowley & Lamb, P.C., in 2006, and as a law clerk researched and drafted legal memorandum, trial briefs, pleadings and motions which have been successfully used in Federal District Courts, Illinois State and Appellate courts on a broad range of topics including rights and obligations of corporate shareholders, enforceability of covenants not to compete, economic duress in business transactions, evidentiary issues involving attorney-client privilege, and personal and subject matter jurisdictional issues.

Upon her graduating cum laude from law school, Crowley & Lamb P.C. was pleased to retain the services of Ms. Ripley who is now directly advocating and protecting the rights and interests of our corporate, commercial and Banking clients. Ms. Ripley has gained court room experience in matters involving corporate breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, fraud, landlord/tenant issues, defense and enforcement of mechanic’s liens, creditor’s rights, labor, employment and professional responsibility issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ripley worked in the title insurance industry. She also worked as a litigation paralegal in the environmental and toxic tort practice group of another Chicago law firm where she worked closely with attorneys during the discovery and trial preparation stages of numerous cases..

Ms. Ripley received her B.A. from Beloit College in 2001 and her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, cum laude, in 2007. Ms. Ripley is admitted to practice law in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
