Francis J. Pendergast III

Mr. Pendergast concentrates his practice in mortgage foreclosure and has extensive experience as a bankruptcy litigator. Prior to his entry into private practice, he handled numerous jury and bench trials while an Assistant States Attorney and Public Defender in McHenry County.

Over his 25 years as a lawyer, Mr. Pendergast has helped to foreclose hundreds of commercial and residential mortgages on behalf of major midwestern financial institutions. He is now one of the leading mortgage foreclosure specialists in the City of Chicago.

Mr. Pendergast was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 1980 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois and the Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Pendergast received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1980 after receiving his undergraduate degree from Niles College of Loyola University in 1977.
